I am very impressed with the graphics, what do modern games different?

Many other modern games do not have such an atmosphere, yes there is a moon in many games and each hair on the models head might be individual rendered but for what purpose?

The menus look like in the 90s and the world like 2014 :)

Yeah, the atmospheric effects in Stalker are the best I've seen in a game.
BTW I see you use a mod, in case of the 2009 mod it enhances the atmospheric effects even more, the cometpass at midnight is the highlight. =)
Also I read there went a lot of research in how the game was going to look like and that was as authentic as possible, the devteam made a lot of trips to the exclusionzone around the Chernobyl NPP to take pictures and such because of that.
get somehing to eat dude
I am still figuring things out...

My guys illuminate the battlefield :)
before and after...

Also the dead body, this looks cruel.

If you're on about the "Complete" mod its massively far from the original idea. Lost Alpha will be the nearest thing to that aside from the early builds made available.

...and to disi - if you haven't played vanilla, you should have.
At times this game really does just look amazing.

I second that. Vanilla + ZRP > Complete in my opinion.
