First impression was these guys are friendly and relaxed. Not to mention the ambush that occurs on your way to the army warehouse which kinda made me feel sorry for them. But that impression is starting to wither away after finding out what they did to a slow witted guy and the thing that kinda surprised me even more, was when one of the freedom guys calls me over and admits to being a cannibal since it's a 'rough world' while at the same time telling me to stay for dinner. It didn't help that I had the weather mod installed and it was during a thunderstorm when this conversation was initiated..so you can imagine the feeling.

The question is are these guys actually cannibals cause on researching further, some people are saying that if you meet someone else before you meet this guy, they'll inform you it's a joke and you can mess with him in the conversation when he tells you to stay for dinner. Does anyone know whom I should meet cause I'm curious to see the responses from this guy.

Also I'm getting an uncontrollable urge to start a war between freedom and duty..it's so tempting.

So I don't want to spoil anything for you, but there is an opportunity to play both sides against each other without them being any wiser.

You'll need to work for Skull and the Freedom leader at the same time to pull it off.

I haven't met Skull yet but does the mission you're talking about require the duty faction next to the army warehouse be alive cause this is what I had done, I found a silenced sniper rifle after a lot of scrounging. The freedom faction didn't see me as a threat after I murdered their sniper. Went and informed the duty leader, then I ran back to the freedom leader.

By the time the freedom faction mobilized into a large group to take out duty, the duty guys blew up the wall and barged in. In the ensuing firefight, I just went to the freedom armory and found a nice grenade launcher with ammo.Sadly, duty got wiped out in a couple of minutes. Checking my status, I'm not a friend/enemy to duty or freedom so far.

Then again, I also have a couple of backup saves before this plan was carried out so I wouldn't mind restarting again from there since my next mission is the X18 Lab.

That's the scenario, and I played it out the same way.

You probably have to do more jobs for each faction, to push them into "friend", but your double cross won't have had a negative impact.
