I was, yeah. And to be fair, the human/human combat in LA was marvelous. Balanced differently than the original, but very unforgiving. It's just the mutants that felt too easy to me. Especially the ones that I've become accustomed to fearing in other STALKER games.

Weird... I had to unload a clip most of the time (more like the CoP bloodsuckers where only a shot to the side of the head does any real damage).

Please remember it is intended only for those that have completed all three games.
I been trying to play the DC version since it came out and it is incredibly crash happy, wait for the full installer instead of the patch and hoping that works.
Seconding what Mist17 mentioned, had too many crashes in my experience with it so I'm keen on waiting until they get it to a more stable condition/release.
