Hey i have an question,

is the released Version of Stalker 2 on GOG 1.0.841 the same Version as 1.1.4 from the original Stalker Website?

And why its called 1.0.841.

:)

I expect that it is v1.1.4.
I am downloading now on slow connection so I won't know until tomorrow.

This is GOG's version numbering. Why they go back and forth with their numbers and the devs is beyond me.
It's like they want to screw around with us.

My theory is that sometimes GOG makes changes ONLY to their installer and therefore use their own numbers.
But they don't care enough to tell us.

Ideally the current version number of the game should display on the main menu.

Now there's a great idea, easily implemented. lol.

Yep, it's 1.1.4! Why it's called that is unknown to me. Just download the update and see if it works. Cheers! I wish you don't have to download the game again.
