I notice the mod folder, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. I'm trying to install the ZRP mod, however it's telling me to make an alternate of my gamedata folder, which the GoG version didn't come with.

You can probably just paste the gamedata folder that ZRP comes with, and it should work fine

That instruction was meant for people that have already installed previous version of the mod.

If you're installing the ZRP mod for the first time on the clean GOG install you just simply drag copy the gamedata folder that is provided in the mod into your STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl folder. Then simply modify the fsgame.ltx file as described in the instructions.
I´m having trouble to put ZRP 1.07 to work. I did exactly how it suggests, but simply doesn´t work. Any ideas? Here´s a image from my current installed STALKER folder. I´m intrigued to know what means that folder named mods put by GOG. Thanks.

"Mods" isn't for mods. I don't know what it's real purpose is but it was added in a patch a long time ago. I think it's just a multiplayer map of somekind.

If you have not installed any mods, you will not have a gamedata folder yet and won't have to do anything with it.

In order to install ZRP, you must place the gamedata folder inside the main folder. (Such as C:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl)

The ZRP files will then be in C:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl\gamedata

Did you edit fsgame.ltx and change the false for $game_data$ to true?

I did, and now it's working fine. I did have an issue where my PC (I'm running a really old PC with XP on it still(!)) told me that the file was protected, but by switching fsgame.ltx file to open with notepad I could then edit it, and save.

ZRP running nicely now.
Thanks for the help guys, got it to work properly now!
Can Arsenal Overhaul 3.1 work for CoP 2.0.0.12? Because the mod description says it works with 1.6.02
