Hey all.

While it is not supported can CoP work on a hackintosh (PC with Mac os) via emulation or something?

I have a friend whom I want to see if they like it but... yeah... Hackintosh

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl has a gold rating on the Wine AppDB. Take note of the comments regarding shadows and openal though as they can break the game.

Cheers mate.

I know sod all about emulation etc for these games so didnt even know about that site. Shame the multiplayer isnt tested though.
Well it appears that it doesnt like a 64bit so it needs more work to play around with the thing to get the game working at all on the mac os
Did you manage to get it working?
You can configure Wine to create a 32-bit exclusive compatibility layer on 64-bit machines. The docs are a good place to start.
