I have bouhgt metro last light and 2033 and shadow of chernoble and I can not stay alive.My guns do not hurt my enimies,I have to shoot them with over 100 rounds before they get hurt.But I cant take 2 bullets with out dying.Atleast the orginal games could kill and stay alive.these games are garbage.I wanted a game with better programing not worse.I have tried to get help or refund but no answer from gog,who is based in russia just like steam out of country.Why cant someone here sell us games atleast theyed work.

I bought my first stalker game in ukraine in russian.At least it worked if not poorly.The games gog sold me do not play very well at all.They freeze steal guns and ammo and the guns jam every third use of trigger causeing death over and over.Why am I the only one who sees that they are selling trashy games reprogamed worse than the originals

Works fine for me. Maybe try reinstalling?

I've played all three GOG-releases of STALKER (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call or Pripyat) multiple times and never experienced those troubles.

Well, at least , I don't stick with a broken-down weapon; I trade/repair into better condition gear. That's part of how "the Zone" is - crappy weapons are common - you have to keep an eye out for better ones and/or get some repairs on them. The "programming" doesn't seem faulty in that regard - to me at least.

Metro 2033 I only played far enough to realize it was a linear corridor shooter; which bores me, so I quit playing at a certain distance in. But up to that point was the same - I didn't seem to have all those troubles. The only reason I stopped playing is because linear shooters aren't my "thing". Maybe someday I'll get thru it..

The Stalker games aren't broken. Weapon accuracy just isn't that great early on. Even when you put a scope on them, the early assault rifles are so-so at best. Like Martek says, it's The Zone, and things there aren't so great. As far as getting killed easily, use cover, grenades, etc. This isn't quite a run-and-gun series, and you're not going to be sniping away with an AK like you can in so many other games.
