When I boot Shadow of Chernobyl, the game flickers to a black screen constantly. The game is practically unplayable. Running the game in windowed mode fixes this, but obviously I do not want to run the game in windowed mode.
PC specs:
i5 12600k
RTX 3090
32 gb 4800 MHz DDR5 RAM
1440p monitor 145Hz refresh rate
Running on Windows 10
I didn't install any mods except ZRP. I was getting this issue even before I installed ZRP and I was hoping ZRP would fix it. It didn't. What should I do here?

Which option with lighting mode You chose?

Second option - try to decrease refresh reate from 145hz to 60hz
I've tried both. Neither work. However, I did notice that there was an instance of this flickering not happening for an hour or two. I assumed this was the result of me setting the preset graphics settings to a lower value, however booting the game with those settings now still causes flickering to happen in fullscreen immediately. No idea what the deal is.

Tried setting the exe file's compatibility to Win XP?
