Hey folks,

I am pretty much new to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Just installed it and wanted to give it a shot. Now I encountered a problem:
Already in the "Tutorial" section, where I get an explanation for my PDA, the dialogue seems to skip. It sounds like the last word of almost every sentence seems to be cut, i.e. the next sentence starts, before the latter is over. Often I can still somewhat understand what's going on, but it makes it really hard to keep track of the text.

This happens in both English and German version of the voiceover, so I suspect it has to do something with the game itself.

Does anyone know how I could fix this issue? I suppose I could still play the game but it makes the whole process rather annoying than enjoyable.
