Hi,

I am trying to get my version of STALKER to recognise my controllers input to play the game. Ive a PS3 controller, connected via USB, MotionJoy to recognise inputs as Xinput, and Xpadder running to configure, however once STALKER loads, it simply stops recognising my controllers inputs. Any ideas on how or what needs doing?

Ive seen someone mention the command "exec 360controller" via the console, however it states "exec" is not a recognised command.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

(Please keep the abuse towards controller vs M+KB to a minimum, thanks ;-)

Hi, don't know witch of the 3 stalker you're trying to get it works, but try lookin' this
Hi, and thanks for the reply.

Its for Stalker SoC, Ive tried as stated but still no success. I wonder if it has to do with Windows 8.1?

I notice that Xpadder stops reading the controllers emulated mouse movements the moment a security (UAC) pop up appears. For example on running the Stalker shortcut. Im assuming the problems continue or have a similar cause into the Stalker program etc.

Ive the trial for Pinnacle Game Profiler which has an option to launch profiles in "persistent mode", and my controllers inputs are recognised in Stalker. But it appears Xpadder does not have something similar.

Ok, if the problem starts with UAC popup, have you tried to disable UAC temporary or just to set Xpadder in compatibility W7 mode and launching as administrator? :)
My problem has been solved!

I believe its already running in compatability mode as Xpadder would not launch otherwise.

Ive tested it with UAC disabled or left on its default settings, this has no effect.

The solution is simply launching Xpadder with Administrator rights!

So thank you very much for your suggestions. You have solved this little problem :-)
