Its a really weird problem where my game will keep heading to desktop regularly every 5 minutes or so but the game is still running. I switched to windowed mode and the game will suddenly stall and then resume when I left mouse click.

I played the game 10 hours already and only started experiencing this problem after adding another 4 gb of RAM to my computer.

I have Atmosfear and a couple of smaller mods installed and my specs are as follows:

CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Radeon 7950
RAM: 8gb Corsair Vengeance

The same thing has been happening to me. Anyone who knows how to fix this?
I don't know of anything specific with the game that may be causing this, though there is a chance that there is another program that is stealing focus for just an instant and this could cause the game to minimize or stutter in that moment. Also if something is doing that it might not be apparent in all games so just because it doesn't happen with others doesn't rule out it being the cause with another.

I'm not sure if that's what's happening but it sounds like a possibility, you could check if that's the case by using something like System Explorer (http://systemexplorer.net/).

Let it run in the background while playing the game, once the game suddenly minimises quickly check System Explorer and check its "History" tab, I don't remember if the History tab/module is there by default but it's easy to add by clicking the "+" if it isn't.

In the History tab there it will list the most recent process activity. Take note of the few most recent process names and go back to the game and do this a few times. If you notice the same process name was doing something each time the game minimised/lost focus then you've found the culprit and can simply close or terminate the program stealing focus, presuming that's the case.
