Finished SoC the other month and am continuing by playing Clear Sky. Ever since though, the game crashes randomly and it seems for no reason. During the day, night, when things are happening, when nothing's happening, whatever. The game engine will just crash to desktop, no freeze, no "not responding", merely a message from the game engine listing the errors and whatnot for the crash; "xrEngine.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Windows\system32\d3d11.dll" at 0023:6C4B7DA4" At least it's always the same thing and not something different every time. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated and save me the frustration :) P.S. i have tried running as admin.

Are you using the SRP (Sky Reclamation Project) and the 3GB RAM patch? If not, definitely try these first.

It's the same for me. xrEngine.exe causing the crash. Running Windows 7.
