I hope this is within the rules... its an advertisement, but not for a commercial project? See, I've been playing Call of Pripyat for years, and I've always had a problem with not being able to move the game window around. I can't center it like Shadow of Chernobyl, there's no way to grab the title if it even has one, and a lot of other programs won't work because the game minimizes itself if you tab away.

I've been through what feels like half a dozen different programs that are supposed to help with this, all kinds of windows management things, some meant for games, some not. AutoSizer worked for a day, but then never again. That one japanese program, never worked with this game. But today I just found this, and it works!

The game window stays where it is even after I close the program.

I should mention, I can only test with Windows 7, and I don't know if DirectX versions matter. I'm just so happy and excited about it I had to share! Sorry if its against the rules!

Came here from Google, and can confirm that this trick still works with Shadow of Chernobyl on Windows 10 with multi-monitor setup.

I'm using AltDrag to move Stalker to my second display (you can also drag it all the way to the top of that display in the usual Win10 fashion - to make it "fill" the whole screen).

The game won't be able to lock the mouse pointer after this, so we'll need another program to fix this:

http://www.snakebytestudios.com/projects/apps/cursor-lock/

Set it to "User Mode" > "Lock Region: Window Interior" > "Create Shortcut".

The end result:

1. Launch Stalker in windowed mode, then start or load into the actual gameplay. Pause it.
2. Use AltDrag to move the window
3. Run CursorLock shortcut
4. Enjoy.
