1. The game simply doesn't launch. I press the "Play" button in GOG Galaxy, this button becomes inactive and nothing happens after that.

2. I've tried Manage installation --> Verify / Repair. It downloads 96 megabytes each time I press Verify / Repair (for what?).

OS: Windows 10.
But I see active X-Ray process in task manager: danilbraun . org/files/xray.png

Remove pctrlchk.dll from the "bin" folder, it has been known to cause Call of Pripyat process being stuck.

Don't! This will cause very prolonged freezes when saving/loading or opening main menu.
Yours actually installed? All I got was cryptic errors. I hope Stalker 2 presents zero of these issues.
