if you are using galaxy you can update by right click the game in recent area or the game list
and use the "Check for updates" option

or

find Spiritfarer in your games list amd download the patch file(s) you need

i would assume that the last 2 are what you probably need (depending on what version you have now)
since the small size of the most recent patch probably means it was a bug fix
