Dear GOG-Team,

on Wednesday, 3rd of April, a patch for "Spirit of the Island" was released (3.0.4.0), which fixes a problem in the savefile system.
The latest version in my GOG-download section of "Spirit of the Island" is still 3.0.3 (Offline-installer files).
Do you know when the new version 3.0.4.0 will be available to download on GOG?

Thank you very much.

I guess next week unless 1M Bits Horde / META Publishing intend to neglect GOG uses completely.
The offline installer is already completely neglected and half a year behind. So it will likely NOT be replaced with an upgraded version as it should.
So the normal way of getting the upgraded game. By downloading offline installer. Won't work anyway.

I think it is likely that we only can get a copy of the upgraded game by:
1) installing the galaxy framework,
2) Downloading the game using the galaxy framework.
3) Removing galaxy again.

Dear GOG-Team,
dear SOTI-Developer,

another week passed, so I repeat my question concerning the offline updater for Spirit of the Island.
When will the new version with the fixed savefile problem be available to download on GOG?

I hope we will not be "neglected completely".

I really hope that GOG continues providing updated offline installer files. It's a great feature and an important reason for me to buy games on GOG and not on other platforms.

Offline installer for adventureland is still:
setup_spirit_of_the_island_-_adventureland_2.1.0.1.1_(67980).exe
that is WAY behind 3.0.3.0

The following is from GOG SUPPORT CENTER Downloads & Installing General information:

Do I need some launcher application to play my GOG games?

No, you don't need any additional apps or launchers. All games downloaded from GOG are nicely wrapped in a self-executable (exe) setup file, some of the larger games are accompanied by binary files. See this support article for how to download the offline installer.

So after you downloaded the setup files, just double-click the exe file to install the game on your hard drive. After the installation is complete, shortcuts will be added to your Start Menu, desktop and Games Explorer, so you can launch your game just like any other. As for movies, you can either stream them directly from the site, or download them as mp4 files, which you can them play with your favorite video player (https://www.gog.com/account/movies). Couldn't be simpler.

That statement is simply false for the adventureland version of this game.

We can not get that without installing a launcher application = GOG Galaxy first :-(((
(except for a seriously outdated game version)

Actually this has cased me to not wanting to buy more games from GOG.
If additional launchers is needed anyway then why not simply use steam (where updates usually arrives first anyway)
