Does LAN play require Galaxy? I don't use it because I don't like DRM.

Okay, we disagree on what the definition of DRM-free is. Point is I want to be able to play multiplayer without being logged into a 3rd party service. If you have the game can you check?

You won't be able to play multiplayer without Galaxy. There is no LAN mode. If you try to start Multiplayer without Galaxy the game returns to main menu without comment.
