I am stuck in the first level. It tells me to use the rope (key C). I press the key, nothing happens. not near the wall, not in the empty space of a platform.

I change my key to other key (X), and it doesn't work either.


What's going on?

If I recall correctly, you can only throw the rope while looking up or by looking down next to a ledge.

In the commercial version, the default key to throw a rope is A. I've not remapped anything but the movement keys in my install, and the remapped keys work fine for me, so I couldn't say what your issue is.

Did you make sure you have at least one rope? ;)

Maybe you did not have any rope.

You should remap the keys if you want.
