Kyojinmaru: I've saw in various sites comparisions between this and his sequel, but in no one you get a clear vision, some ones say that SF1 better, some others SF2 is better, so, anyone can give me a good comparision with the differences between the two and all that?, thanks.
SF1 is better than SF2 IMHO. Of course SF1 had some problems that where fixed in SF2, but on the ohter hand the SF2 wasn't so enjoyable as SF1 for me. It is difficult to compare, but you should definitely get the SF1 platinum edition as it will give you hundreds of hours of gameplay. If you don't like it skip SF2.
The biggest problem was that SF2 wasn't that RTS like any more.
Sometimes you had some base building to do but less frequent then in SF1.
The story wasn't that bad but i wasn't really dragged in the game. Loot was rather rarein comparison with SF1. I liked it but i'd rather replay spellforce again then SF2.
It seems that SF1 is more deeper than SF2. I'm not a graphic fanboy, but in this particular case, SF2 has a much better looking. Well, I have played some missions, but now I'm with Planescape, I will play more missions eventually, then, when the last expansion from SF2 hits the market, I will give it a more deeper playthrough to see for myself the differences.

SF 2 is an extremely dumbed down version of SF 1.

For casual gamers SF 2 is maybe a bit better. For gamers who look for deep gameplay then SF 1 is surely better. SF 2 is inferior to SF 1 in many ways.
