when i start playing the game half the screen goes black horizontaly so i can only see the top of the screen and not the bottom half...i have tried re downloading and installing the game but the same thing happens.

my system is windows 7 64bit, asrock champion x79 motherboard, nvidia gtx 690, intel i7 3820 cpu, 12gb of corsair vengeance ram running at 1600mhz , all seated in a thermaltake level 10 gt lcs tower case......any help is appreciated

This is happening to me, too. It is really strange: the game loads and runs the introductory video without problem, then when the prologue starts, there is a strange 'rolling up' or 'folding' of the game screen, from the bottom to about 3 quarters of the screen -- this is not the whole screen scrolling, rather it's like a blank (black) screen part is being scrolled up in front of the main game screen. The sound continues, and the 'blank screen' eventually slowly scrolls back down, revealing the whole screen again, and then it starts over.

Update: I saw another post where some were having black screens with dual monitors. I do not have dual monitors, but I do have dual GPUs, so I adjusted Spellforce to use only one GPU in nVidia control panel, and this issue has gone away.
