I installed spellforce platinum today and when I installed norton av didn't like one of the files, ar.exe. It thinks it's a virus, it automatically removed it and so far I have been able to play the game without problems. Only done the prologue and into the first map though.

Anyone had this happen? Will it affect the game later on? Pasted in some of the info from norton below.

Thanks for any help.

Filename: ar.exe

I do remember this kind of problem with my disc version of Spellforce 1 Gold Edition a few years ago. Avira AntiVir deleted some game files, because it thought it was a virus.
Didn't happen with my disc version of Spelforce Platinum though.

Berolsaurus:
I doub it's a real virus, but if you're not sure yourself, send a feedback to technical support here on GOG. They can confirm if it's dangerous or not.
