Mobile(Notebook) or Desktop system?
It is a laptop gaming system. It is the Acer Predator 17 Gaming Laptop, Core i7, GeForce GTX 1060, 17.3" Full HD G-SYNC, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, G9-793-73MB

with win10 pro x64 os. Not sure what else i should check out, running win10 20H2 update as well, and i tried playing with only the laptop as a laptop (off the one screen), tweaking and configuring the geforce graphics card as suggested in the gog support section, as well as directing the game to try the GTX 1060, then the integrated Intel HD 630.

I tried from the factory os that came with it (Win10 1903 drivers), then with my gaming partition with the win10 pro 20H2, and those both proved fruitless. I am totally open to suggestions. Also i tried the SpellForce 2 mod DB patcher utility that fixes any graphical issues (after throughly testing all compatability settings and tweaks provided on forums on gog, steam, and moddb).

I appreciate any help i can get! No problem tossing in another SSD or setting up another os on partition from scratch to figure this out. Worth mentioning i also reinstalled all dependances the error was referencing. I reinstalled all visual runtimes from 2005 to 2019 as i was uncertain which visual runtime c++ it was running on.

Edit:

Heres a copy and paste of the error code from event viewer, doesn't really help me much given it always generates these errors everytime i launch the SpellForce 2 Anniversary Edition. Thoughts?

Please make sure the game runs on the Nvidia chip and not the internal IntelHD chip. That is causing the issue right now.
Found the solution. Took me a while as i got tied up doing other things.

That said, the solution is windows 10 update. Build 2004 has bugs in it. Caused all sorts of issues. Had to do a fresh reimage to 202H, all patches, and then update all the drivers, and their associated chipset(s) and i was able to play with out issue. My issue points towards it being graphical, but thats also tied into win10 x64 pro version 2004. Reinstalled all the things that go to my pc driver wise, software wise, and the game ran smoothly. Thanks to all who tried helping!

My Solution:
I uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 and reinstalled them.
One of them caused the problem (did not examine it further).

Mine was a pile up of a lot of leftover data from 1903 all the way up to 2004, when i did a fresh reimage, this resolved alot of problems for alot of games. It wasn't just spell force. I also have a ton of software and development software loaded into my gaming machines so they can double as productivity, which may have added into my issues, with all the extra stuff i load into the os. When i did a fresh OS and then followed the update path i mentioned, alot of the games ran just fine after some dependancies were reinstalled and driver updates were installed.
