Hey!
I'm thinking of getting Spellforce, but there's one thing that confuses me. I tried the game a few years back and remember that it used to run terribly slowly on almost any rig regardless it's specs and graphic settings (e.g. lagged as hell during massive battles on my amd 3700+, 7800gtx, 2gb ddr400). So what's your framerate guys?

Spellforce runs very smoothly with an AMD 4200, a 4850 and a 2 gb ram.

As I recall Spellforce was a bit ahead of its time for most machines upon its release - so many people had to run on lower graphics settings. However more modern machines seem to have no problem with the game
Its not that old either if you search around you should be able to find a demo to try first (Gamershell might have one)

not a real up to date gamerig :p
