Earlier post mentioned using CTRL and + to open console . does this work for cheats?I have seen the cheats online at various sites, but these instructions for opening console do not work .Any ideas?
BTW-yes, i know i shouldn't but i am near the endgame for Patrt and want to get thru with Godwall and the last three parts before winter comes here (its July now.)

It's not CTRL +, it's CTRL ]. It used to be CTRL + before the 1.05 update for the game.

Thanks, I have not used cheats yet. Most of time I just replay the area using better strategy. But in the Rift, the fire demons are just awesomely difficult to eradilcate. That I could use helpl with. many attempts but the AI just swarms me at the end of the corridor near the spawn point--overwhelming.

I tried all combinations...

CTRL and \ worked for me.
