I got this downloaded then when i tried to run it says d3dx9_25.dll missing so i got that and put it in the folder now when i try to run it, it starts to load then nothing happens, any one know why its not working?

It's generally recommended installing DX9 (which will work alongside DX10 & DX11) rather than cherry pick missing DLLs (they aren't added to the registry)

Ok I did that I still can't get it to start i double click the exe icon it changes to the loading symbol on the mouse for a few seconds then it stops and nothing happens.

Make sure you're running the game as admin. Check if the game is creating the config.lua file all right. Check if it's your Anti Virus getting in the way of the game launching properly.

ok i couldn't find the config file how can I acquire it?

This is regarding Spellforce Platinum, yes ? Because i completely forgot that Spellforce 2 is also on the catalogue now.

If it's Spellforce Platinum and if you're in Vista or Win7 have you looked in

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\SpellForce - Platinum Edition

for the config.lua ?
