Hello,

I recently got the game and I have a few questions.
1. When I select skirmish (or LAN) your name is "Happypanda" or something like that. I haven't seen an option to change that in game. Seems like you can change it from the config_user.txt file in the game directory. Is there an option to change it from inside the game (via the ui)?

2. Can you create your own custom hero for multiplayer or skirmish? I noticed you can make your own hero after finishing the 2nd game in the campaign. Is that the only hero you are able to create?

3. I was able to change the keybindings for the camera rotation (changing keybinds is really handy feature!). I adjusted it to alt + right mouse button. Do you know if it is possible to adjust it to alt + mouse movement (I think dawn of war I had this scheme). Basically you press alt and when you rotate the mouse, the camera rotates with it.

1 Change Name in the LAN Play Menu, just left click on the name in Top Right Corner, and you get a Text box to create your name.
That names used in Skirmish as well.


2 Not that I can see, it appears that despite reading in a review that you could create 4 custom heroes in the campaign, but not the main character, which was already a huge letdown. Even that's not true.

All I could see was the ability to assign skills, and points to existing pre created characters,
In Skirmish mode it's the same, except don't even seem to get a my own character at all, just 4 heroes.

Not much in the way of an RPG that I can see.

3 Whatever key you assign, For both Rotate/Pan Camera it says (hold and move mouse).
So mouse movements always required whatever keys held just triggers it.
Don't see any way to not have mouse movement,

I'm only starting myself, so I'm not sure 2 is totally correct, but I can't find any character creation functions.

I'm also struggling to find any way to set, or select group units, I thought it was action groups, but that appears to be hero actions.
Not unit group settings.

Thanks for the answers. It's a bit of letdown that you can't use your heroes on skirmish.
As for unit groups, I think the ctrl + <X> (where X number) to create and then <X> to select works for me. (I'm using control scheme A).

In the control bindings options the related entries are: Quick Select Slot (0 - 9) and Assign to Quick Select Slot
