I agree. This should not be marked as solved until the issue is really solved.
It's funny how you could fail to release a game while its 25 years old ancestor didn't have this problems and couldn't count on last minute fixes.

I can't wait and bought game on Steam too . (Already I planned buy it Xmas time frame from Steam too :D)
I know it's fixed on Steam and I saw it's about config files (Actually fixed executable solve this problem but this one is a quick or hotfix :D You could play game with it .) Then I decided to share it .

So the whole problem is non-patched version is generating bad v.vth file ...
