Anyone else notice strange flickering on some objects? With the 1st track it's King Kong's arms, the T-Rex and a couple of signs, and sometimes opponent cars flicker in and out, as if some polygons 'pop-in' too late or out too early. Tried all game video options and some video driver settings, but no fix so far.
I had artifacts using 32bit textures, however when using 16bit textures the game looks fine.
It happened to me once. The only thing I had to do was restarting the game.
Use nullzero suggestion. Switch the texture to 16-bit. Now all the flickering and clipping object gone. Beside, the 32-bit doesn't look like true 32-bit. This game probably too old to support 32 bit texture.

EDIT: But sometime the problem still occurs. I read somewhere on the internet, the original disk version required you to set the CPU speed not more than 2.0GHz, or else the game will crash. Maybe GOG version has been tuned to run on modern PC but it introduce minor side effect.

Does the GOG crew ever go back and fix issues with old games that they have already "fixed"?

They can't go deeper since they don't have any source code access. They can only make the game run / work with the windows but can't fix anything related to the game technical issue or glitch.
