I extracted the latest dgvoodoo into the game directory
set dgvoodoo for svga mode card and turned the mouse settings off. (DG Voodoo Control Panel -> General tab -> untick "Capture mouse".)
I used dxwnd to run it in a windowed mode in the main options, centered.
in game you can set it up to use a gamepad I used newer xbox controller.
I use HotKey Resolution Changer to set the resolution of the actual monitor.

To make the game not work/crash in the graphics options configurator there is interlaced mode, so don't do that.

Run DXWND before starting the game I used version 2.05.27 but other versions may work. Then run the game from within DXWND by creating an icon for it.

I can even control the mouse outside the game window and maximize the window.
Hope this helps people.

To get a working config:
1. imported the dxw file that has a name similair to: POD Gold
2. right clicked the icon for the POD Gold and clicked Add
3. Fill out the Name of your choice in the Form, like SB
4. Fill out or Browse for the path to the exe of SpeedBusters.exe
5. Click OK
Note it has a changable resolution set at 800x600 windowed.

One way to create your own DXW file of your game settings:
copy and rename a pre-existing DXW file in the Imports folder.
right-click and modify the icon in DXWND
Save the file when your done.


The latest dxwnd 2.06.02f already has a config file for speedbusters.
