OK, I know that this wonderful game was developed (mostly) "in home" (home studio, but still, not regular way of developing games of such scale). I'm, probably, not the most eloquent english speaker either, put aside fact, that I'm not native speaker.

But - assuming, that manual wasn't written in english, originally - translation is horrible. It's only a little better than things created by modern-day auto-translators, to the point, that it really hurt readers ability to focus on manual's content. It took me two or three times longer to "swallow" those 52 pages, just due to need of "internal" re-phrasing sentences into something more comprehensible. It mostly suck on interpunction, then usage of correct words, followed by grammatic (the last "just" couple dozens of times, thankfully).

Now, don't get me wrong. I really love this game, and I'm perfectly aware of developer's financial situation surrounding release. Still, I think that properly translating 54 pages would still be a tiny fraction of whole game's developing cost. Heck, they could even ask fans of first release to translate it volunteer'ish, and it for sure would turn out great (or, at least, not as painful).

Not that this topic serves any particular purpose, other than letting out my grief, just after reading whole manual. Unless some aspiring (indie?) developer reads it, and get an idea about how important such small things may be, for final game's receiving. I can easily imagine some people getting discouraged at manual reading stage.
