hi just wondering if anyone has any clue about a problem im having
after installing the game when i try to play the screen gos black for a moment then gos back to my desk top, the game never starts and and i dont get any error messages

Are you running Windows 7? If so, try running the game as administrator. You could also try some compatibility settings if running as administrator doesn't work.

Another thing you could try is reinstalling the game to a location OTHER than Program Files. To do this, hit the "options" button on the GOG installer before installing the game.

Finally, you might want to check that you have DirectX 9 installed. This is needed for older games, and it will install alongside the newer DX10 or DX11.

yeah im running windows 7 32 bit...ive tryed runing as admin..and i have the dx drivers..

Apparently the suggestions are to try one of the following things:

1) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

2) Edit the cfg.txt file in the game directory (Windows 7 might relocate this to some kind of "My Documents" location or something if you can't find the file) and change the VideoMode option from R2 to R1.

3) Edit the cfg.txt file to enable windowed mode, which might work when fullscreen does not.
