KajQrd: I tried searching for quite a long time for a fix for the black screen problem in Space Rangers 1. And I managed to find a solution so I thought I'd share it. Basically you just need the ddraw.dll from the releases page here. Unzip that into the game folder and it should work.

on my Win10 I finally succeded in launch the game via main .exe in Win98/ME compatibility mode.

Instead there is no way to launch that from GogGalaxy: black screen ever. I suppose it's a GOG bug at this point -> the game works but not from galaxy.

KajQrd: Is that with or without the dll mentioned above in the game folder? I can run it just fine without setting a compatibility mode and launching directly from Galaxy with that file in the Space Rangers main folder.
