the space combat works great been playing for ages now but when i try to do ground combat after a while the game randomly crashes with no warning or error message.

I just purchased the game and this is happening to me as well. It's incredibly frustrating, anyone have any ideas what could fix it?

Did you try to change the configuration for the battle? It's in the option menu and, for me, it solved the problem

Hi everyone - I'm actually getting a very similar issue: when trying to conquer or destroy a building in ground combat the game just quits.

I see someone mentions changing the settings for ground combat - I tried messing around with a couple of the options but nothing seems to do the trick?

Any suggestions ?

I had the same problem in the base Dominators, I don't know if the reboot will change this at all, but I found when I turned off the Sky and most of the other effects the game stopped crashing on the building capture.
Hope that helps mate.

I had to switch to a different compatibility option for me.
