Is there any way to get the races to offer you new or reroll missions? I know you can turn off the rts ones and tell them you refuse the text adventure ones but what about the hunt x ship ones? Any way to disable in the game files or options from those showing up and just have deliveries only?

Sometimes you are able to say "I don't want THIS mission" (it differs from "I don't want these missions at all"), and you would see different offer. More often works in late game.

Yes for the RTS ones i disabled them and you know if it's a text one if it has a skip option. The problem I'm having now is it seems like it ran out of the delivery missions or something. I go all over to different races and different systems and always offered a hunt mission or a protect mission. It's literally been years now of game time so I'm beginning to wonder if the missions are finite. Now the game hesitates like it's accessing something when I ask the Gaal and then it comes back with we have none available at the time. Been years since I've even seen an available mission from them in any sector.
By my experience, game uses "sister planets" logic, delivery quests usually appear between predefined planets, maybe sister sector for your gaals haven't unlocked yet.

Doesn't matter too much now but the delivery missions are definitely the easiest way to level and make money if they were always available. I figure it's either something with a sector being pirates or something. My ship at the time had like 85 jump range so was good way to level and make money until it broke.

If a system has pirates in it, then you're much more likely to get a system protection or ship protection mission than any other mission - I think those missions override whatever the mission would be otherwise.

Note that this works even if the pirates are actually your fellow wing-men - I've had cases where the protection mission was offered, but then as soon as one of my pirate wingmen landed it changed to something else, then back to the same protection mission when the ship took off again.
