Here's a quick bonus suggestion for the GOG team: the completely unique, not actually part of the game "demo" of Space Quest 6! For those not in the know, SQ6 has a fully voiced, if fairly short and totally easy demo that nevertheless is completely distinct from the main game. Even though you can find it for download on Space Quest fansites, it's exactly the kind of crazy bonus stuff that really adds to the experience that you'd hope to find from GOG that might have otherwise slipped under the radar and it still works on Windows XP (I can't really speak for other systems).
Just a suggestion!
Absolutely agreed. I remember the Freddy Pharkas demo was also independent from the full game.

Freddy Pharkas...I hope that gets added down the road at some point. I remember spending a ton of time stuck trying to figure parts of that game out, but it was fun for me anyhow.
I agree as well. That's an excellent idea! And I'd imagine the demo is getting increasingly hard-to-find, and to run on today's machines.
Download http://www.sierrahelp.com/Misc/Demos.html#SQ6 and unzip it. Then just drop Sierra.exe onto a shortcut to dosbox.exe.
Yeah. I don't know how well it works on Windows 7, of course. That could be an issue with it being on GOG as a bonus when they're trying to get the actual games working on 7, of course.

It works on 7. As I said, just drop it on a shortcut to DOSBox. That will run it in DOSBox. Of course DOSBox will run in Windows 7, even 64-bit.
