I have installed the game on my computer but when ever I try to launch it, the screen immediately turns black and enters an infinite load cycle. It is so bad I have to hard reboot my computer, when ever I try launching the game, as I am unable to back out and access the control panel and desktop, as well as finding keyboard commands (such as Alt+Tab and Ctrl+Alt+delete) do not work.

Any idea what the issue could be and how to fix it?

I am using windows 10 and a GTX 1660 gpu, both are up to date

thanks that link had some helpful info that solved my problem. I had to download the psudo patch to fix the directx bug
