(I already posted this issue to the release thread, but since people aren't likely to go back there looking for tech help I have reposted it here.)

If you install the game to:

C:\games\spaz

the game does not work right. You won't know this until you can't dock and wonder what you're doing wrong. (It's not you - it's the game. It will also cause errors in the console.log file, which due to poor coding you can't even view until you shut down the game. It will also cause some of the tutorial information to not be visible, but if this is your first time playing you probably won't know it's missing.) You have to install using the default directory name, such as:

C:\games\Space Pirates and Zombies

Note that I tried installing to C:\games\spaz multiple times (as I was trying to fix the problem as advised ). It was only when I installed to C:\games\Space Pirates and Zombies (as advised [url=http://www.minmax-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2200]here) that it started working for me.
