Simply put, construction bores me to tears and the game lacks any start with a premade ship. Doesn't help that having to design a ship from scratch when I don't know how the rest of the game plays makes me second-guess myself all the time. Having the option to have a decent, functional premade ship on game start would be great.

This is interesting. Every time I start a new game, I start on the old mining colony to build my ship from scratch - because I love this part of the game most :-D
