Why Games in Development?
Space Haven has come a long way and offers a solid experience as is, however, the game has yet to reach its full potential. There's much more to add and we want to hear your voice. We believe games reach their best potential when developed together with the feedback from a community.

We invite you on this journey to help us shape Space Haven to something special.

Approximately how long will this game be In Development?
We want to keep working on Space Haven until it is a true gem among indie games. Our plan is to keep updating the game with new features and exciting content until it reaches that status.

A rough estimate for this could be somewhere between 1 to 2 years. However, we don't believe you can rush quality, and we will take as much time as the game needs.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Games in Development version?
We will keep building on existing features and implement new ones with the goal to expand the game play experience, add more content and overall make the possibilities in the Space Haven universe more bountiful.

We also want to improve the onboarding process and make Space Haven more easily understood. In addition to these we are eager to hear your thoughts on what the game could benefit from.

What is the current state of the Games in Development version?
The Games in Development version is very playable with superb performance. Our focus has been to offer an Games in Development version void of game breaking bugs, but should they arise we will aim to fix them immediately.

We believe that you will see the love that has already gone into Space Haven, and the endless potential it has. However, we see plenty of room to expand on and improve the existing features to bring them up their full potential, which will be our main focus.

Moving forward we plan to listen to you, our community, and iteratively develop Space Haven towards a game of dreams.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Games in Development?
We plan to release the Games in Development version with a lower price, and we will probably raise the price as we approach the full release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
Our approach to game development has always been community-centred. Our community matters a lot to us, and while we have our own vision for the game we try to include feedback from our community as much as possible.

When deciding on what to implement we strive to follow a work-reward formula, where work can be seen as implementation time and reward as player satisfaction and added game play enjoyment.

We have set up many channels for you to send your feedback, both in-game and on social media, and we're eager to hear what you have to say. Join Games in Development and become a starfarer today!

Yeah! In GOG we trust! ps. thanks a lot for the italian translation of the game 1000 points for this!
FAST FEEDBACK (will update as i play)

1. 'side scrolling' option does not work in Starmap View

2. took me a while to use a secondary click to move my dude to storage to eguip guns - you should add this obvious (but not really) tip in the description of the task - this is TUTORIAL anyway

3. Shitting pants while in a spacesuit (salvaging for example) is just not cool and REDUNDANT – please code in condition like 'if in spacesuit then no shat pants'

4. when drafting and putting to work – the crew member should stay drafted

5. asking to choose crew to assign work – crew icons should be visible (for shortcuts) as you already have someone in mind for this work (depending on skills)

6. SPACESUIT DOORS sometimes work BACKWARDS (despite being marked by arrow – cosmonauts wear suits on the other side of the door. Usually happens when Oxygen levels in suit drops and they come to replenish it

7. Zones of LIGHT produced by lamps should be increased (maybe) – coz lighting a room with consoles for example – is either very hard (not enough) or every console should be surrounded by lamps (LITERALLY)

8. PRIORITY system should be expanded to FACILITIES

9. when using OPTRONICS Fabricator – animation-wise it stays TURNED OFF (minor feature fail but feedback is feedback) ;)

ALSO:

the SOUNDdesighn is PERFECT. much respect

the COLOR and general UI layout is also quite DONE WELL
- and I wonder if you already have a clue how to transition it to mobile
--- might suggest check out EVE ECHOES solutions – they had a good ui in beta already

OVERALL – EPIC EXPERIENCE after about 20 hours of play i mastered all the routine but the game still surprises me with events. If this is Early Access – I wonder what you have for future updates)))

I hope more random encounters and more DIFFERENT AGENDA for different FACTIONS

This is just the kind of game that would go to the top of my wishlist at the very list, expect for one thing:
Please consider adding optional turn-based combat. No need for XCOM2 quality, just something functional like the TB option in Pillars of Eternity 2. But I really can't stand RtwP.

I'm glad I'm not the only one also writing a big list of feedback for the devs! this game is great!

I'm also making a huge list, but I will wait until I can't think of anything else to add to it, but then I will post it.

It's only been five months since 0.19. That's not yet unusually long; the gap between 0.17 and 0.18 was nearly 8 months.

Or are you asking about AdmiralGeezer not announcing 0.19 here? That's indeed a shame, but also not that unusual - he skipped 0.17, too.
