I'd like to know before I purchase it in GOG if the game will be updated right away on STEAM or more focused on updating it in GOG right away or updated at the same time when a new version is released

The aim is to update at the same time on both platforms. Platforms react a bit differently regarding this but generally it should only be a matter of hours difference. =)

There's been some reports of the GOG digital download version being a bit slow to update at times but I think (hope) that is fixed now!
