Hi,
I just purchased and downloaded the Space Colony HD on my Mac Pro and can not get it to start. I get this error message: "Can not write to Info.plist there are permission problems or the volume ..." and so on. Now I did follow the directions under the FAQ and solutions for known issues for the MAC OS X but this did not work, I get the same error. Repairing the disc permissions does not work, but I have a duel boot system where I can bring up the MAC OS 10.6.8 or Windows XP, so I have to choose what to repair and of course I choose the MAC DISC. The DOS disc is called BOOTCAMP.
I have tried using the GOG downloader as well as the MAC OS downloader and tried launching Space Colony from the download menu as well as the Application menu once I have copied the game into it. Nothing works, the same error message.
What should I do?
Also, the Demo version DOES work which I downloaded some 10 days ago (when I was still under OS 10.5.8, I just upgraded).
Truly,
Ricardo
