Greetings, the game starts and plays well but after the prologue, when i choose the acolyte to start game it just stucks in an endless loading screen. Any clue how to fix this?

I had the same issue. It looks like the most recent 1.1.15 release is broken, and I was able to fix it by downgrading to the 1.14 version.

To do this in Gog Galaxy, go to Manage Installation for the game, and un-ticking "Automatically upgrade to newest version", then choosing previous Version 1.1.4 and let it update.
If you want to download from the browser, I think you have to go to "Offline Backup Installers", and install 1.0, and then run patches until it's 1.1.14

The older v 1.1.14 works fine.
