There's a pretty simple reality to face about PC emulators on Mac.
Any emulator that runs your Mac OS simultaneously (ie Crossover Games/VMWare Fusion etc) take a LOT of troubleshooting and even then, may ultimately not play 4-5 games out of 10.
But Bootcamp is another story. I've so far had 100% success running all my GOG games on Bootcamp. I don't mean there isn't the occasional bug, but the stability of the system and its speed are far superior to the emulators. I would say if you're serious about having a collection of GOG games on your Mac box, go straight to Bootcamp.
And be careful. Do backups. Setting up a partition can cause horrible problems if you stuff it up.
For the record the following games worked on Bootcamp that I couldn't even get to play on Crossover or Fusion:
Soulbringer
Deus Ex
Witcher 2 (managed to get it to work on Fusion but was painfully slow despite 10 gig of RAM!) - much better in Bootcamp.
riposter70: What's your setup Kremin?
How's Carla by the way?
CaptainKremin: Heh, she's as big as usual. ;)
Setup.. Q9550, 8gb ram, win 7 64 bit, x-fi onboard sound, Rampage Extreme 1
Nothing overly strange.. I can only run the NoEAX.exe... I have a feeling (unfounded) that it may be this exe specifically that's the problem.
All sorts of issue arose when MS did away with proper sound and started to emulate everything.
