Has anyone figured out a way to move the fog barrier out a K or two - or even a 100 meters?

I don't know if this is helpful, but there is a cheat code for that. Unfortunately, I don't know what it is anymore.

There was a forum for Soulbringer and one of the developers for the game posted the cheat in some thread. It worked beautifully. A couple of years later I reinstalled the game and realized I didn't have the code anymore. I went looking but couldn't find the forum again. I've been kicking myself ever since for not saving that cheat.

One funny thing about it is you could make the viewing distance so far that there would be black gaps past the edge of the area you were in and on the other side you could see areas that were completely different parts of the game world. It was just how the game stored the areas, I guess.

I sure wish developers understood the importance of "user mod" to the enjoyment of their work. Some of us have physical limitations - others of us are claustrophobic - at least the caverns aren't too much more squeezed in. Oh, right, it is just a game....just a game...deep breath...
