Does anyone know why the official GOG product page for the GOG store states that "AMD GPUs are not supported for this title"? It certainly isn't true--never has been. I even bought the game when it was new, and it ran fine on my AMD GPU at the time. Really wish GOG would up its game on the OS compatibility score for older games.

This game needs some attention, if you intend to keep selling it.

I'm envious of you and wish I'd noticed that statement on the store page before I bought it the other day. It was bad enough having the itch to play the game again, but not being able to play it after purchasing it and attempting to troubleshoot my difficulties for several hours (I keep getting the fatal error on launch crash) is making me mildly cranky.

That's strange, the game start up box has software rendering as an option in the video settings. Have you tried that?

I'll be honest. After a year, I don't recall what I did or didn't try at the time. In attempting to launch it now, though, it's just hanging with no response whatsoever. I'll have to try uninstalling and reinstalling it tomorrow to see if that makes any kind of a difference, although I rather doubt it.

The gameux rundll32 problem is affecting old games. The quick way to deal with it is to click on the .exe a couple of times then use task manager or something similar to shut down the first .exe of the game and rundll32 once the game is started.

Other people have suggested different methods for the problem with registry changes or moving some files.

Well, it only took me a week to remember to get back around to this. Got it back to opening the launcher, but testing every graphical setting has me back to my initial problem of a fatal error crashing the game on launch, including the software setting.
