Have any of you ever managed to find an NPC that can identify the cyan-coloured "Device" that looks like a Blade-Chain dropped by the Air Revenant Incubah? According to Prima's Strategy Guide, it's called the "Electric Blade-Chain" and when it has been identified it has the additional special move "Incubah's Swing" when compared to the regular Blade-Chain. Hammer is gone from Madrigal by the time you get it, but I've tried hacking one in before he leaves and he didn't seem able to identify it, neither can Elric.

I had this problem too, I could only use the basic version from the captain on rainbow isle. Can I ask where you got the Prima guide? By ebay or is there a PDF flying about? There's an interview with one of the producers in there I was hoping to read.

I bought my copy off of Ebay for around 30 USD. If you'd like I can send you some pictures of the interview in the back.

I would really appreciate that if it's not too much trouble. It's possible they're the same as some interviews they gave to gaming sites back at release but there might be something interesting there. Don't worry about the quality or anything, some photos would be fine!
