(i CAN play, but it crashes to the desktop all the time,making it unplayable)
Hi all ! i had this game as a child, and finally it released on gog :D my problem is, as the title says, that itm constantly crashes to the desktop. I am running windows 7 64 bit. i wouldn't care as long as it's not stopping me from playing, but it IS. I SO want to play this game to the end, and i have tried EVERYTHING i can think of...currently i'm running it at comp. xp sp3, disabled desktop composition, running in 640x480 res. no visual themes, disabled desktop composition and disabled scaling...tried every combo but to no avail...plz help

i was playing it for hours years ago with no problem.
now i have installed the GOG version and played a while just to test.
till now, everything seems ok.
i have AthlonXP, Nvidia 7900GS (latest driver), WinXP Pro SP3, latest directx.

It's after 'a while' that the problems start...

OP.. I'm surprised, and saddened, that it doesn't work on XP either, if there was a sure fire OS to run it on I'd have bet pounds to peanuts that it was XP..:/ EDIT ahhh.. I see you actually wrote 'compatibilty xp sp3'.. my mistake.

But in the mean time watch this space.. there's a very competant chap on the case. :)

sorry if there was a misunderstanding, i haven't tried it on xp, i am running windows 7 64bit, and i think that's where the problems are, it crashes just after a little while for me too though
