I know this is not the first thread on the subject ("fatal error" message). But here I don't want to discuss the technical side of the issue, but I would like to invite GOG to say something meaningful about this problem - or say they have no clue.

If it helps, this is what I found on the Gamersgate site:
"ATI/AMD compatibility notice: Under Windows 7, Soulbringer requires graphic card drivers version 12.10 or older."

Questions are: Do you agree with this notice, and does it apply to other operating systems, like Vista, as well?

What? It's on the gamecard. No idea about Vista. If you want an official answer from GOG then contact support. These are user to user forums.
