I realize this is terribly shallow, but I was wondering if clothing or armor appear on your character, and if there are any really cool ones (like long robes, or capes, or face-concealing masks/helmets)?

There are cool equipable outfits, but you only get to see them on the paper doll in the equipment (inventory) screen.
