Use a different browser. I had the same with Firefox. Ok with Chrome.

Yeah, doesn't work for me either, tried two different Firefox-based browsers. Why is it so hard for devs to stick to the W3C guidelines?

Edit: And two different IE versions, they don't work either. Oh well, I'll probably never play it anyway.

I claimed it yesterday with Firefox, no problem.

Internet Explorer adds a bunch of its own crap that isn't part of HTML and screws up site rendering depending who does or doesn't use non-standard components- Site devs: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Chrome does it a decade later- Site devs: Thank you sir may I please have another.

The forums are the only part of this site that work anymore, and unfortunately I haven't been able to find a user script that will fix the rest of it for pre-quantum mozilla builds/forks.
